Chenying Wu

Painting is my way of observing the world and recording it in my work. I draw inspiration from literally everything. I’m very inspired by observations from daily life. Those are the main influences behind my creations.

I work mostly with watercolor and gouache. I would describe my style as a bit humorous and slightly suggestive. I enjoy the creative freedom and challenge to make ideas visually. Each project is a new adventure that pushes me to research on many topics and explore the unknown. I have a faith that creation can bring positive changes to the world.
